Neon Lady Tattoo's journey began solo with Neona at the helm, her illustrative styles narrating vibrant tales on skin. The family soon grew with Hickory, Neona’s common-law husband, joining as an apprentice, and eventually becoming a full-time artist specializing in American traditional tattoos and lettering. The artistic spectrum widened further with the addition of Nina Li, proficient in fine-line, black-and-gray designs, to the team in March.
We are especially touched by the mention of the diverse clientele we cater to, from tattoo first-timers in their later years finally realizing their ink dreams to individuals seeking to transform old tattoos into new, captivating artworks. Neona’s prowess in coverups, notably turning a dark blue unicorn design into a richly detailed red rose, underscores the transformative magic and the restoration of confidence that tattoos can offer.
Neon’s imaginative portraiture, surreal florals with human characteristics, and the collaborative artistic spirit among our artists are aspects that make Neon Lady Tattoo more than just a tattoo studio—it’s a place where art lives and breathes.
