Description of work:

‘First snow fall’ depicts a lone rabbit lost in a swirl of fresh snow and maple leaves, kicked up by a hawk swooping in for the kill while three other rabbits watch helplessly. It appears the rabbit is doomed.. however, its heart is still pounding and its hind legs are ready to spring! Leaving its fate open to interpretation. This represents the uncertainty of life, the inevitability of death, that no matter how chaotic it seems, death is the natural cycle of life and when you look at the big picture, it can be quite beautiful.
